Empowering the North Through Cloud Technology
Yarl Salesforce Ohana, founded in 2019, is a registered non-profit organization based in Jaffna, Sri Lanka that has been empowering tech enthusiasts for over five years. What began as a Salesforce learning community has now expanded into a multi-platform initiative encompassing MuleSoft and AWS technologies. We create opportunities through monthly meetups, hands-on workshops, and certification support, helping students and professionals build rewarding cloud technology careers.
Our journey has been marked by significant milestones, including four consecutive years of Hackforce (our annual Salesforce hackathon) and two successful editions of Yarl Dreamin’ – Sri Lanka’s premier community-led Salesforce conference in 2023 and 2024. The establishment of our dedicated physical space in Jaffna in 2024 further strengthened our ability to foster innovation and collaboration.
Today, we’re proud to have grown beyond just Salesforce, having launched active MuleSoft and AWS communities that regularly host specialized sessions and meetups. As we move forward, we remain committed to our vision of transforming Northern Sri Lanka into a vibrant hub for cloud technology expertise, creating pathways for talent development and career growth across multiple platforms in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

What We Do
Yarl Dreamin
Yarl Dreamin is our flagship event and the pinnacle of our community efforts—bringing together Salesforce professionals, industry experts, and aspiring technologists in Northern Sri Lanka. This annual conference sparks innovation through inspiring talks, engaging workshops, and valuable networking that uplifts the region’s growing tech ecosystem.
Hackathons
We champion hackathons as key drivers of creativity and innovation. These events challenge participants to solve real-world problems, build working prototypes, and collaborate intensively—transforming ideas into practical solutions while building essential technical and problem-solving skills that matter in today’s fast-paced tech world.
Hands-on Training
Through our hands-on training programs, we prepare the next generation of cloud professionals with job-ready skills. Covering fundamentals to certifications, our workshops combine practical experience with real-world application, guiding learners toward careers in Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS cloud technologies.
